0AW VL381 Aftermarket Transmission Control Unit Guide

This guide is intended only for this 0AW TCU.

Learning of gear characteristics:

1. Gear shifting current:
   1. This step can be completed automatically while the vehicle is in motion; If you prefer configuring this property manually, go to step 2.
   2. Engine must be running for more than 10 sec, engine temperature must be higher than 40C, transmission fluid temperature must be in the range of 20 – 100C. It is recommended to turn off your AC during the following procedure.
   3. Please exercise caution, secure the vehicle to avoid sudden movement
   4. Step on the brake pedal during the entire process, select N for more than 3 sec, and then R for more than 5 sec, shift gear selector into and out of R repeatedly for the TCU to learn the reverse gear characteristics.
   5. Step on the brake pedal during the entire process, select N for more than 3 sec, and then D for more than 5 sec, shift gear selector into and out of D repeatedly for the TCU to learn the forward gear characteristics.
2. Change TCU SW:
   1. Secure login in -> Password 12345 -> Enter the intended code to Long Coding and apply. If you are unsure about your code, please contact your sales representative.
